Frequently Asked Questions

WHY IS CAUSENTA BETTER?

Who is Causenta and what do we do?

We are a healthcare company located in Scottsdale, AZ that combines principles from complementary, alternative, homeopathic, allopathic, and other types of medicine to create the best possible treatments. Our physical location includes a fully functional world-class designed gym, about 30 medical offices with technologies from around the world, conference rooms, and full bathrooms with showers.

We utilize comprehensive testing procedures to determine the sources of disease, not just the symptoms, and we pinpoint biochemical and physiological barriers in your body that are the cause of disease, poor health, and poor performance. Our clientele ranges from terminally ill patients to seemingly healthy individuals, from kids and teens to baby boomers, and from weekend warriors to elite-level athletes.

We expose our patients to a level of care that does not exist anywhere else in the world. With their input, we develop an optimal wellness package that fits their needs, solves their problems, and optimizes their health. Over the past 20 years, we have successfully helped hundreds of people with a variety of health conditions including ALS, Alzheimer’s disease, brain injury/head trauma, cancer, depression, diabetes, fertility issues (men and women), fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic pain, colitis, Crohn’s, genetic conditions, hormone issues, IBD, IBS, interstitial cystitis, obesity, overweight, Parkinson’s, pulmonary hypertension and spinal cord injury, weight loss, and other conditions.

Why Causenta assessments are better?

We incorporate physical, neurological, biomechanical, genetic, epigenetic, proteomic, biochemical, and physiological evaluations on almost every single individual that we treat. By aligning ourselves with the top diagnostic labs from around the world, we are able to consistently update our knowledge and awareness of new ways to uncover what is at the root cause of your health issues. By combing the platforms and technologies from these resources we can literally test your body for any molecule (i.e. vitamin, mineral, amino acid, fatty acid, hormone, an inflammation marker, etc.), any gene, and any organism that can affect your health. After speaking with our team, we will create a plan to help you based on your symptoms and health history. When you begin we may collect blood, urine, saliva, or stool samples, have them analyzed for specific substances or organisms, and then determine the best course of treatment based on your results and your goals.

I feel fine, why should I worry about my health?

We have never had a patient who was in perfect health. Everyone has at least some minor issue, and things like disease risk factors are usually asymptomatic until it’s too late. We will work with you and educate you on the most appropriate strategies for your optimal wellbeing. Waiting until you are too sick or aching to move AND then getting help, is not a sound investment in your health. You want to prevent things from declining with your health because it is less expensive over time.

To help you get the best possible experience, we provide lots of resources and experts to help you. After you contact us, one of our staff or patient advocates will reach out to help you navigate the process of preparing for treatment.

Initially, either staff or a patient advocate will be your primary resource at Causenta Wellness. They will answer your questions, introduce you to our programs and protocols, assist with paperwork, and help you finalize arrangements as you prepare for arrival.

We have some of the best trained professionals in the world, and our integrative approach to healthcare will convince you of this on your first day 😊.

TESTING

Test plan proposal

One reason why so many treatment plans fail is that they are following one size fits all protocols. At Causenta, we test you first and then create your treatment plan. We will tell you details about your health, that will give you the best possible chance of achieving your results. We put our recommendations in writing, so you know exactly what we are suggesting to help you.

Do I have to come to Arizona to do testing?

No. We can arrange to test you anywhere in the United States. We will send you the test kits and directions to the nearest lab of your choice to have your blood drawn.

Do I have to do follow up testing?

Yes. Follow-up tests are necessary to make sure that our therapeutic approaches are helping you.

When can I expect my test results?

Results can take anywhere from 24 hours to three months. We will tell you in advance how long they will take.

What to expect

We have a full gym and a full medical center. Five to seven days per week you will be working with an expert in movement to get your body (and immune system) and mind stronger. Most patients spend 4-5 hours per day at the beginning and as they get healthier we can combine therapies and they can get done in 2-3 hours. Typically, patients start at 9am and are done by 2pm. An average day might look like this:

What if I’m already taking supplements?

Not a problem. We can help you with your supplement strategy and recommend higher-quality products.

Ongoing care

After treatment, many patients ask if they can continue with us. The answer is absolutely! We can work with you while you are back home and continue on with your health journey.

COST, INSURANCE, MEDS and LABS

How can I afford testing and treatment?
  • We are always willing to work with people based on their budget and needs. We offer payment plans, family discounts, pay in advance discounts and we will try to provide the information you need to file a claim with your insurance carrier. Not all carriers cover all services.
  • One of the biggest misconceptions that people mistakenly assume is that their Doctor and or Hospital will accept their insurance. While it is true that they may “accept” the insurance, that does not mean the insurance company will PAY the claim. In essence, the insurance company is making your health decisions.
  • Insurance does not cover phone consultations. In order to file a claim, you must meet with the physician in person. We will notify you in advance of the costs associated with your treatment, so in case your carrier decides they will not cover any services you will know your financial responsibility upfront.
How much does it cost to make an appointment?

Causenta does not accept medical health insurance for consultations. However, if you have insurance, our team will work with you to maximize your coverage.

You can also ask our staff about our payment plan options.

Labs can be done outside of our facility, where you live.

Phone and in-office consultations with a Causenta doctor are billed at $350/hour.

The initial consult is billed at $700 to $1,400. Expect to spend between 4 to 6 hours on the phone or at our clinic with our team. We will carefully look into every detail of your medical history and prior medical records. We will ask you critical questions that will help us get to the root cause of your medical condition. Our doctors and staff will review and prepare your report at this very first consult.

Additional consultations and follow-up appointments are billed at $350/hour.

For patients traveling to our facility, we have a discounted Daily-Flat-Fee of $1400, rather than charging each service separately.

What does the consultation fee cover?

When you arrive at our facility you are exposed to a variety of technologies and therapies, not available anywhere else in the world. We help you to determine which of these works best for you and prepare a personalized treatment that works best for you. If additional expenses outside of our daily flat fee incur, you will be notified by one of our staff beforehand.

The consultation fee covers a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. Most patients have no health strategy and so they try random things hoping to get better. The fees pay for the time it takes to set you up in our proprietary databases, review the relevant research to your case, review your health history questionnaire, and discuss the findings with you.

Many times, this process involves researching details of a case and takes over twenty to forty hours of work. It can be more important than any specific treatment because it can uncover the best options to help someone.

Why Causenta supplements cost more than the average supplements in the market?

Most supplement companies will never bring up the acronyms GMP or COA. GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practices. COA stands for Certificate of Analysis. Supplement companies can significantly reduce production costs by lowering their standards and skipping on sample analysis, but this means inferior products that don’t contain enough of the active ingredients to be effective.

Basically, you’re paying for low-quality junk that does nothing for your health. At Causenta, we use natural supplements from companies that exceed the minimum standards for Good Manufacturing Practices and regularly analyze their product batches for potency and consistency. While these supplements cost a little more, they actually do what they claim to do, which for you means they’ll actually help you feel better. The worst investment you can make is to buy cheap supplements that don’t do anything for you.
