Frequently Asked Questions about Causenta Wellness Programs:

  • Who are you and what do you do?

We are a healthcare company located in Scottsdale, AZ that combines principles from complementary, alternative, homeopathic, allopathic, and other types of medicine to create the best possible treatments. Our physical location includes a fully functional world class designed gym, about 30 medical offices with technologies from around the world, conference rooms, and full bathrooms with showers.

We utilize comprehensive testing procedures to determine the sources of disease, not just the symptoms, and we pinpoint biochemical and physiological barriers in your body that are the cause of disease, poor health and poor performance. Our clientele ranges from terminally ill patients to seemingly healthy individuals, from kids and teens to baby boomers, and from weekend warriors to elite level athletes.

We expose our patients to a level of care that does not exist anywhere else in the world. With their input, we develop an optimal wellness package that fits their needs, solves their problems and optimizes their health. Over the past 20 years, we have successfully helped hundreds of people with a variety of health conditions including ALS, Alzheimer’s disease, brain injury/head trauma, cancer, depression, diabetes, fertility issues (men and women), fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic pain, colitis, Crohn’s, genetic conditions, hormone issues, IBD, IBS, interstitial cystitis, obesity, overweight, Parkinson’s, pulmonary hypertension and spinal cord injury, weight loss and other conditions.

  • Why are your assessments better?

We incorporate physical, neurological, biochemical, biomechanical and physiological evaluations on almost every single individual that we treat. By aligning ourselves with the top diagnostic labs from around the world, we are able to consistently update our knowledge and awareness of new ways to uncover what is at the root cause of your health issues. By combing the platforms and technologies from these resources we can literally help test your body for any molecule (ie vitamin, mineral, amino acid, fatty acid, hormone, inflammation marker, etc), any gene and any organism that can affect your health. After speaking with our team, we will create a plan to help you based on your symptoms and health history. When you begin we may collect blood, urine, saliva or stool samples, have it analyzed for specific substances or organisms, and then determine the best course of treatment based on your results and your goals.

  • What types of treatments do you use?

The treatments we utilize include:

  • Allopathic/Western medicine treatments like therapeutic ultrasound and occasionally prescription drugs
  • Complementary and alternative medicine treatments like acupuncture, customized dietary supplement strategies, and customized diets
  • Naturopathic treatments like prolotherapy and platelet rich plasma therapy
  • Homeopathic preparations

  • Health care is expensive; how can I afford testing and treatment?

We are always willing to work with people based on their budget and needs. We offer payment plans, family discounts, pay in advance discounts and we will try to provide the information you need to file a claim with your insurance carrier. Not all carriers cover all services.

One of the biggest misconceptions that people mistakenly assume is that their Doctor and or Hospital will accept their insurance. While it is true that they may “accept” the insurance, that does not mean the Ins Co will PAY the claim. In essence, the insurance company is making your health decisions.

Also, insurance does not cover phone consultations. In order to file a claim, you must meet with the physician in person. We will notify you in advance of the costs associated with your treatment, so in case your carrier decides they will not cover any services you will know your financial responsibility up front.

Our invoices list your CPT Codes so you can pay up front, receive a discount, and file the claim with your insurance carrier on your own. One other thing to consider is that health is an asset, not an expense.

  • I feel fine; why should I worry about my health?

We have never had a patient who was in perfect health. Everyone has at least some minor deficiency, and things like disease risk factors are usually asymptomatic until it’s too late. We will work with you and educate you on the most appropriate strategies for your optimal wellbeing. Waiting until you are too sick or aching to move AND then getting help, is not a sound investment in your health. You want to prevent things from declining with your health because it is less expensive over time.

  • What can I expect on the first visit?

We operate differently than other facilities. We don’t wait to see you and then drag things out longer in order to figure everything out. We try to get all your information before you walk through the door so by the time you come in we have a customized strategy ready for you. That strategy can always be changed based on your initial consultation.

  • How much does it cost to make an appointment?

The initial fee for an office visit is $350 ‐ $700 for the office visit. Additional charges may apply depending on the type of services provided. Follow up office visits may be $175 or $350.

  • What is the consultation fee for?

The consultation fee covers a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. For an excellent overview please read this document by Dr Aldren. Most patients have no health strategy and so they try random things hoping to get better. The fees pay for the time it takes to set you up in our proprietary databases, review the relevant research to your case, review your health history questionnaire, and discuss the findings with you.

Many times this process involves researching details of a case and takes twenty to forty hours of work. It can be more important than any specific treatment because it can uncover the best options to help someone.

  • Do I have to come to Arizona to do testing?

No. We can arrange to test you anywhere in the United States. We will send you the test kits and directions to the nearest lab to have your blood drawn.

  • Do you treat men/women/children/seniors?

Yes. Causenta Wellness can help anyone of any age or gender.

  • Do I have to do follow up testing?

You don’t have to, but it is very highly recommended. Follow up tests are necessary to make sure that our therapeutic approaches are helping you.

  • When can I expect my test results?

Results can take anywhere from 24 hours to three weeks. We will tell you in advance how long they will take.

  • Why are your supplements so expensive?

Most supplement companies will never bring up the acronyms GMP or COA. GMP stands for Good Manufacturing Practices. COA stands for Certificate of Analysis. Supplement companies can significantly reduce production costs by lowering their standards and skipping on sample analysis, but this means inferior products that don’t contain enough of the active ingredients to be effective.

Basically, you’re paying for low quality junk that does nothing for your health. At Causenta, we use natural supplements from companies that exceed the minimum standards for Good Manufacturing Practices and regularly analyze their product batches for potency and consistency. While these supplements cost a little more, they actually do what they claim to do, which for you means they’ll actually help you feel better. The worst investment you can make is to buy cheap supplements that don’t do anything for you.

  • What if I’m already taking supplements?

Not a problem. We can help you with your supplement strategy and recommend higher quality products.
