Food in America: Pandering, politics, and propaganda

In this newsletter, we had planned to examine the questionable practices of the American food industry and the sad state of our country’s food supply. We wanted to explore how the idea of “eating healthy” has become an ambiguous, arbitrary term manipulated by the USDA and special interest groups and propagandized through the Food Pyramid and other biased nutritional recommendations.

Instead, however, we decided not to reinvent the wheel, and to let someone who can achieve our goal much more emphatically and eloquently do the job.
