Looking for a way to reduce pain after an intense workout?

Athletes and others who enjoy working out and pushing their bodies often experience joint pain or discomfort after the session. If joint pain medication is something you want to avoid, but still want an option for joint pain treatment, technology tools offered at Causenta may be a good option for you. They are non-invasive, safe, and comfortable while providing effective results for reducing joint pain and complementing overall wellness.

One of these tools is the Life Light. It is a fairly small device that you can easily take to the gym or work, but it is not totally portable since it needs to be connected to a power outlet. The Life Light utilizes LED wavelengths to reduce pain and inflammation while improving circulation. It is believed that the various types of light penetrate the skin and produce a biochemical reaction in the cells that helps them heal themselves.

Each person’s cells are unique, so the effectiveness of this tool or another would be measured for each patient before and after a treatment session as part of our customized wellness programs. Dr. Tom Incledon, Founder & CEO of Causenta, also has core strategies he recommends that can help people stay healthy and feel their best:

  • Get regular check-ups. Being on top of your health and noticing changes early on can help with early diagnosis of cancers and other diseases or conditions.
  • Eat a healthy diet comprised of a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables, as well as lean proteins. Download the rainbow diet guide.
  • Exercise regularly. Staying active boosts your immune system, which will help as you age, recover from surgery, or receive treatment for cancer or other diseases.
  • Sleep matters. Having a regular sleep cycle gives your body a chance to recover and rest, which is key to immune function and brain health.
  • Be aware of your environment. Certain factors around us can impact our health. Pay attention to the quality of air and water where you live, as well as limit your exposure to cigarette smoke, alcohol, and various chemicals that can increase your risk of developing cancer.

How Does Life Light Work?

Life Light is controlled by a digital panel. When you turn the device on, the four specific wavelengths of LED light emit from a flexible pad. The pad is important because you wrap it around an area for optimal results; there is nothing sharp to make it uncomfortable. The session will run between 15 and 30 minutes automatically depending on what you are trying to accomplish.

The device has many applications as a method of joint pain treatment. Athletes can use it before, during, or after a workout to prevent or alleviate joint pain. You can also put it around your back while you’re working if that is a problem area, and you can use it at night before bed if your neck is stiff.
