Both contact and non-contact ACL injuries are commonly seen in American football. Musculature injuries typically occur when the load exceeds the tissue capacity. Physical rehabilitation is geared towards pelvic stability and lower body isometric, concentric and eccentric strength with the addition of any necessary modalities for restorative and regenerative health. Progressive strengthening, neuromuscular control, plyometrics and sport-specific exercises are part of the process to return to sport with the addition of electrical, thermal, and nutritional therapies to reduce the risk of re-injury. Rehabilitation is structured to complement all other forms of training, both in season and off-season.
Whether you’re a cancer patient, getting treatment for an illness or disease, an athlete trying to stay on top, or simply trying to find the path to optimal health, we have the solution for you.
