For 30 years, our clinical team has worked with patients whose cancer requires more than a standard protocol. From patients seeking a second opinion and looking for treatment that runs alongside chemotherapy or radiation, to patients who want a clear picture of their biology before deciding what comes next.
Every protocol at Causenta begins with the same step: comprehensive testing. We measure the biological factors most cancer centers don't routinely test: microbiome health, intracellular micronutrient status, oxidative stress, genomic markers, environmental toxin load. Then we build a treatment plan around what we find. Not a template. Yours.
Standard oncology treats the tumor. Causenta supports the underlying biology that surrounds it.
Standard cancer diagnostics rely on imaging, biopsy, and tumor marker panels. As part of an individualized protocol, Causenta typically adds:
Each of these tests intends to answer a question conventional oncology doesn't always ask: not just what kind of cancer you have, but what is happening in your biology that is making it possible for cancer to keep growing.
Cancer doesn't grow in a vacuum. It grows in a biological environment that can either support or resist its progression. Supporting your overall physiology is part of how we approach every protocol, whether that runs alongside treatment from your existing oncologist or stands as part of the cancer-care plan directed by our own physicians.
Every patient follows the same five-step pathway:
Causenta works with patients across most solid tumors and many blood cancers. Our deepest clinical resources are built around the cancers we see most often.
AML, CLL, Leukemia, Lymphoma, MDS, and Myeloma
Mouth, nose, throat, salivary glands, and other areas of the head and neck.
Esophageal, Stomach, Small Intestine, and Colon
Cervical, Ovarian, Uterine, Vaginal, and Vulvar
Brain, spinal cord, and nerves
Bladder, Breast, Gall Bladder, Pancreatic, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Mesothelioma, Penis, Prostate, Skin, and Testicular
A second opinion is information gathering. It is not a challenge to the physician treating you now. Many Causenta patients arrive after a difficult conversation: a stage they did not expect, a prognosis they want to understand more fully. We have worked with patients at every stage, including those told there are no further treatment options. We're honest with you if there's nothing more we can offer, too.
As part of an individualized protocol, our cancer patients have access to therapies most oncology centers do not offer.
*Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent cancer or any disease.
Caregivers are part of every Causenta protocol. We welcome spouses, adult children, and siblings at every appointment, and we provide dedicated guidance for the people supporting a patient through treatment.

Yes. Most of our cancer patients are also under the care of a conventional oncologist. Our protocols complement standard treatment, not replace it.
Two main differences. The first is the depth of testing we run before recommending anything — we evaluate biological factors most centers don't routinely measure. The second is the additional therapies we have available to support the body during treatment. We don't position ourselves as an alternative to conventional oncology; we work with it.
Causenta does not bill insurance for clinical care. Our consultation rate is $350/hour, and a typical first visit runs 2–4 hours ($700–$1,400 total). Patients traveling from out of state may access a flat daily rate of $1,400 for full-day clinical access. HSA and FSA cards are accepted, and itemized receipts are available for potential out-of-network reimbursement claims. Payment plans, family discounts, and advance-payment discounts are available.
Yes. About many of our patients travel to Scottsdale for active treatment, and many continue protocols remotely with shipped testing kits. Patients arrive from across the United States and from more than 90 countries. We can help coordinate logistics, lodging guidance, and communication with your home-country care team.
Caregivers are welcome at every appointment, encouraged to ask questions on the patient's behalf, and supported with dedicated materials between visits. Many of our most engaged caregivers come to every appointment alongside the patient.
