Treatment Options

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese treatment method that involves inserting very thin, single-use, sterilized needles into specific points – called acupuncture points – all over the body. The needles are so fine that you barely feel them go into your skin, and the entire process is comfortable and extremely relaxing.

Breathing Therapies

Breathing therapies work by inhaling them through the nose and/or mouth. The following are the types of therapies we offer:

  • Eng3 NanoVi

Compression Therapies

These therapies work by compressing tissues of the body. The following are the types of therapies we offer:

  • Air Relax
  • Taping Supplies

Digestive Health Strategy

A comprehensive approach to treating a variety of gastrointestinal (GI) disorders including indigestion, Candida, gut dysbiosis, Crohn’s disease, colitis, and many more.

Electrical Stimulation Therapy – Interferential Current (IFC) & Trans-cutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS)

Electrical stimulation (E-stim) is the use of a low-intensity electrical current to control pain. Interferential Current (IFC) and Trans-cutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) differ in the intensity of the electrical current, with IFC generally being more tolerable. There are two possible explanations as to how – and why – E-stim is effective. The first is that it reduces the transmission of pain signals to the spinal cord. The other explanation is that the electrical current stimulates the release of endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers. Either way, E-stim has proven to be an effective method of treating several different types of pain. Both IFC and TENS therapy can benefit most types of acute and chronic pain, especially postoperative, cardiopulmonary, obstetric, and neurological. It can benefit joint pain associated with arthritis and may help with low back pain and headaches. E-stim is also useful for treating incontinence, regaining motor control after a stroke, and controlling nausea in patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Electrical Stimulation Therapies

These therapies work by electrically stimulating tissues of the body. They allow us to ‘activate’ muscles and address neurological compensation patterns. The following are the types of therapies we offer:

Heat / Thermal Therapies

These therapies work by heating tissues of the body. They may use dry heat, moist heat, or radiofrequency. The following are the types of therapies we offer:

  • Alpha Fuzion

Homeopathic Therapies

These therapies work by providing small doses of substances that in higher dosages might cause the ailment.

Intravenous (IV) Nutrient Therapy

IV nutrient therapy is the delivery of nutrients – vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc. – directly into a vein. This allows the nutrients to bypass the digestive system and significantly enhances both the amount you can tolerate as well as the amount you can absorb.

These therapies work by stimulating the immune system to fight a disease.

Lipomassage – Massage Therapy and Cellulite Reduction

Lipomassage is a non-invasive, FDA-approved method of reducing cellulite. It can also be used to help eliminate fat from stubborn areas, firm and tone skin, relieve muscle pain and spasms, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and massage tense muscles.

A combination of rollers and suction is used to massage and shape the skin and its underlying structures. This process helps to remove dimpling, increase blood flow, and mobilize fat cells. The size of the rollers, the direction they spin, the speed at which they spin, and the amount of suction can all be manipulated to meet your comfort level and your goals.

Lipomassage therapy can benefit anyone looking to reduce cellulite, eliminate stubborn fat (stomach and love handle for men; hips, thighs, and butt for women), reduce lines and wrinkles, or massage away aches, pains, and tension. The actual treatment is very relaxing and the intensity can always be adjusted to suit your needs.

Light Therapies / Photobiomodulation / Photodynamic Therapy

These therapies work by irradiating tissues of the body with specific wavelengths of light. They may use LEDs or lasers and they may run continuously or intermittently. The following are the types of therapies we offer:

Magnetic Energy Therapies / PEMF

These therapies work by exposing the body to magnetic energy fields. They may use low or high -energy fields. The following are the types of therapies we offer:

Movement Therapies

These therapies work by helping the body regain normal movements. They may involve machines, free weights, calisthenics, or various devices to assist or impede movement. The following are the types of therapies we offer:

Neural Therapies

These therapies work by helping the nervous system connect better to the body. They can involve pressure applied to various anatomical points, movement patterns, or devices that provide stimulation to the nervous system. The following are the types of therapies we offer:

  • Quantum Neurology
  • RPR
  • Z-Health

Nutrition / Nutraceutical Therapies

These therapies involve the use of different nutritional strategies to optimize nutrient status. The following are the types of therapies we offer:

  • Deuterium Depletion
  • Diet
  • IV Therapy

Oxygen / Ozone Therapies

These therapies work by providing controlled oxidative stress. They may use dry heat, moist heat, or be administered in a variety of ways. The following are the types of therapies we offer:

  • AtmosAir Clean Air Group
  • Carbonic Acid
  • HyperMaxx_MaxxO2
  • Hocatt
  • IQ Air
  • Ozone Therapy
  • Recirculatory Haemoperfusion (RHP)

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP)

Platelet-rich plasma therapy (sometimes incorrectly called “plasma-rich platelet therapy”) is a safe, natural, and effective alternative treatment to cortisone injections and can often eliminate the need for surgery. PRP uses your body’s platelets (extracted from your blood) to enhance your body’s healing process for injuries to bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons.

Prolotherapy, or “proliferation therapy,” is used to aid in the growth of new connective tissue, particularly to provide strength to ligaments and tendons that may have become weak due to injury or degeneration. In Prolotherapy, a dextrose solution is injected into the injured tissue, generating an inflammatory response to increase the flow of blood and nutrients to the area and initiate the body’s natural healing cascade. Prolotherapy is a safe and effective alternative to cortisone injections.

Regenerative Therapies

These therapies work by stimulating the body to heal. They may  intramuscular, intra-articular, intravenous, or subcutaneous approaches. The following are the types of therapies we offer:

  • Acupuncture
  • Amniotic Fluid
  • Exosomes
  • Prolotherapy

Sound / Sonodynamic Therapies

These therapies work by utilizing sound energy to heal the body. They may use low or high-energy sound waves that run either continuously or intermittently. The following are the types of therapies we offer:

  • Iontophoresis
  • Phonophoresis
  • SAM
  • Shockwave
  • Ultrasound

Therapeutic Ultrasound & Phonophoresis

Therapeutic ultrasound is the use of ultrasonic waves to heal injuries and break down scar tissue. Ultrasound therapy works by sending ultrasonic waves through the skin to the underlying damaged tissues. This causes localized heating which leads to tissue relaxation, increased blood flow, and the breakdown of scar tissue. Ultrasound therapy is effective for treating tendonitis and other inflammatory conditions, swelling, muscle spasms, deep scar tissue, and it may promote the healing of bone fractures.

Phonophoresis is the use of ultrasound to deliver topical medications into tissues below the skin (instead of injecting them). With phonophoresis, the medication – typically an anti-inflammatory – is applied to the skin, and ultrasound is used to drive it into the underlying areas. This therapy is most often utilized for inflammatory conditions including tendonitis, tennis/golfer’s elbow, etc.
